Newfoundland Stamp Cover Census

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to creating a selected census of images of known Covers --only using Newfoundland stamps. A "Cover" is the name for an envelope with a stamp on it. Initially, our efforts are focused on earlier stamps prior to about 1930. Ideally, we want to have one or two exemplars of each type of stamp on a cover -- so share if you have a good example or a better one than depicted below. Eventually, we would like to expand the Census to include many examples.

Additionally, we will focus on the FIRST FLIGHT COVERS--and to try and assemble the most complete census of every FIRST FLIGHT COVER with a Newfoundland stamp on it.

This site was created and maintained by interested individuals, we hope with the sharing of images (with consent and voluntary choice), that such a WORLD WIDE ARCHIVE will provide enjoyment for Newfoundland collectors to share, research bodies to use, auction houses and certification organizations to access and future safe storage of images for generations to come.

This cover was redirected to Mantua Ireland and canceled July 22. Includes typewritten note.
